In the spring of 2017, while we were relaxing for a few days at U.S. Corps of Engineers Willow Beach Campground
, we found and explored Toltec Mounds Archeological State Park.
It’s also registered as a National Historic Landmark. The C.O.E. campground is located at the Terry Lock and Dam in Willow Beach, not far from Little Rock.
