RV GPS

If you don’t know how you’re going to get there, how will you get there? Your  journey should start with the Garmin RV 890 GPS. It provides road warnings to keep you aware of steep grades, sharp curves, weight limits and more. Dash Cam

Whatever you do, don’t cheap out on your dash cam because if your motorhome is involved in an accident, you don’t want to find out after that your dashboard camera failed to record. Tire Pressure Monitor System

In my opinion, the most important electronic devices you can have for your RV is a Tire Pressure and Temperature Monitor System. After trying a few different brands, we found the Truck System Technologies TST 507 Tire Pressure and Temperature Monitor System the most reliable and easiest TPMS to operate. It’s super easy to install and sync up the sensors to the monitor. The monitor sits on the dash or you can use the included suction cup monitor mount to use on the windshield or side window or on your dash using the rubber dash pad mount pad. Air Compressor

In conjunction with using your TPMS (above), you’ll need a good quality, reliable air compressor to air up your tires when needed. On both of our previous fifth wheels and now our small Class C motorhome, we’ve been happy with our VIAIR air compressor. Of course, depending on what size your RV or motorhome is will depend on which air compressor you get.

Tire Pressure Gauge

It’s a good idea to have an easily accessible tire pressure gauge to regularly check your RV tire pressure. In fact, you should keep one in your motorcoach dash area, in your air compressor kit (above) and one in your toad’s glove box.
