Campground Check in
Checking into Taylorsville Lake State Park Campground is easy. Once you enter the campground, present your reservation name to the camp host or gate attendant. They’ll hand you your campsite assignment, site map and campground rules and send you on your way to your campsite.
I highly recommend hitting the dump station after entering the campground but before getting to your site as there are no individual sewer hookups at your campsite.
Four separate camping areas in Taylorsville Lake State Park campground:
- 45 RV standard – 30 amp electric and water hookup (no sewer) (big rig friendly!)
- 15 tent only – primitive camping.
- 10 equestrian sites with 30 amp electric and water hookups.
- Group Camping – primitive camping for organized groups (church, scouts, 4H, etc.)
Handicap Access sites available.
Campsites are spacious with mowed grass and small gravel pads. Each site has its’ own picnic table, fire ring and lantern/trash hanging hook.
Be aware, some campsites aren’t level. You’ll need leveling blocks for some sites; especially if you don’t have a leveling system on your RV.
