RV Maintenance Tip #4: Window and Fan Screens

Window screen maintenance seemingly is one of the most forgotten or put-off chores even though we look at them everyday. When we lived in our S&B, we normally would clean them during our annual spring cleaning. However, in an RV, especially if living in it full-time, they will need more attention of cleaning and repairing. Depending if you have pets, kids, cook a lot or are in high areas of pollen and dust, it’s important to keep them clean and in working order.

RV Maintenance Tip #3: Keeping your RV Drains Clear

One of the most talked about topics amongst RVers is drain cloggage. I know, I know…that’s not a word but you get the gist of it. RV’s seemingly have more delicate plumbing with curvy elbows and connections. I’ve read countless claims of RVers trying everything under the sun to unclog crap from their systems only resulting in exasperating the issue or resulting in an expensive call to an RV tech.

Top 7 Road Trip Books and Travel Guides for the U.S.

There’s nothing like feeling the pages of a good book! While we can get most books on Kindle, we still love to open them to vividly colored pages, map pull-outs, etc. By having these books and guides, we don’t have to rely on internet connection to plan our trips, do research or just dream. We don’t have to recharge or plug any electronics devices in. We just reach for the book, grab our reading glasses and open it.
