Since owning our RV, we have a small basket in a cabinet that holds our maps and small tourism pamphlets. We also have a few RV resource books that we refer to periodically. These paperbacks range from maintenance how-to guides to travel planners. We always try to keep the latest editions that has updated information. Come see which ones we have!
RV travel is fun and adventurous but it does come with some challenges. Sometimes finding a safe affordable campground just to lay your head for a few hours may not be on on your route. If only you can score a free or cheap place to pull in for the night that won’t rob our wallet or take us off the beaten path. Some working-age people are able to pivot from their brick-and-mortar jobs to continue working remotely for their employer while traveling. However, by choice or unseen circumstances, others, like you, are looking for new remote work opportunities. But they don’t know where to start. We’ve found that even in the digital age, paper-page books are good to have in presence. Convenient as it may be to be able to use the internet to get info, having physical books isn’t a bad thing. There’s nothing like feeling the pages of a good book! While we can get most books on Kindle, we still love to open them to vividly colored pages, map pull-outs, etc. By having these books and guides, we don’t have to rely on internet connection to plan our trips, do research or just dream. We don’t have to recharge or plug any electronics devices in. We just reach for the book, grab our reading glasses and open it.
