While attending a few Heartland Owners Club Rally’s, we were intrigued by a new product out there. We noticed on quite a few Heartlands, these rubberized, octagon-shaped “shoes” that attached to the underside of their leveling jacks. After speaking with quite a few Heartland Owners who had them, we were hoping we’d win them as one of the big door prize drawings, but since we didn’t, we decided to just get them ourselves.
We use our WEN 2000 watt inverter generators to act as our emergency backup power to our RV fifth wheel. We also use them for boondocking and dry camping off the grid. In combination, our two portable Wen 2000 watt inverter generators can run in parallel; providing up to 4000 watts and 30 amp electrical output for half the price as other leading portable generator competitors!
We needed a reliable and easy-to-operate 5th wheel hitch to tow our fifth wheel toy hauler and our luxury fifth wheel safely. After several hours of research, we chose the CURT Q24 fifth wheel hitch by CURT Manufacturing to secure our truck to our Heartland Cyclone 4100 and Heartland Landmark 365.
Our former RV fifth wheel toy hauler was equipped with an awesome propane stove and oven. However, I wanted another cooking alternative when our RV was hooked up to electricity so we didn’t waste our propane. And then I found this; an induction cooktop to use inside my RV kitchen and outside for another reason.
Do you know what the number one that will absolutely destroy the inside of your RV? Mold and Mildew! And not only will it damage your RV or camper, it will make your family sick. But a good dehumidifier will quickly reduce and maintain a healthy level of humidity in the air creating a healthy environment for your family.
