Tap water isn’t safe or healthy anymore, especially at a lot of campgrounds and RV parks across the United States. And it’s due to our country’s aging infrastructure and unhealthy chemicals being added in municipal water treatment facilities. And because of that, we got the Clearsource water filtration system for our RV. We found ClearSource Water Filter System and decided to give this water filter system a try.
One of our least favorite chores as RV owners is emptying our gray and black tank. This means we need to have the proper storage of our motorhome’s sewer hose. Alas, we found an easy-to-install RV sewer hose storage carrier that to store our sewer hose aka the stinky slinky!
Since we are not television satellite dish users, we rely on our over-the-air (OTA) television. We enjoy at watching at least a little local television stations to catch up on the news, watch a game or regular television programming. However, our old Winegard antenna was just not hacking it to do the job. So we replaced our old RV television antenna with the Winegard RVW-205 Sensar IV with Wingman.
Do you tow an RV, boat trailer, cargo trailer, toad vehicle from your motorhome or haul commercially? If you do, you’d know that your biggest concern is tire blowouts. But by having the TST 507 tire pressure monitoring system though, you’ll receive an alert of tire pressure or temperature discrepancies instantaneously to help prevent those tire blowouts which could result in an accident or expensive inconvenience.
In your motorhome or camper, you may need to replace your RV kitchen faucet due to age or to simply update the faucet. Or your existing kitchen faucet in your camper is broken or malfunctioning. We upgraded our Anderson Kantleak water service panel with a much improved and better engineered retrofit water service panel. Our old Anderson Kantleak had plastic fittings that leaked; making the valve system unreliable. However, as you’ll read further, you’ll notice the vast improvement of the the new Anderson Kantleak’s fittings. Plus, we’ll include how we installed it.
In mid 2018, we installed 600 amp hours of Battle Born GC2 12 volt lithium batteries in our fifth wheel so we could power our RV while camping off the grid. Here’s what we learned and our assessment of these state of the art lithium ion batteries.

RV cabinet sizes are not standard to those in houses. So it’s up to the RV owner to find kitchen cabinet storage solutions that will work for their individual motorhome or camper. To do so though, you need to make necessary modifications to make them fit.
Though our luxury fifth wheel didn’t need a major RV renovation taking it down to bare bones such as removing cabinets, major reconstruction, we did make some incredible cosmetic modifications and improvements. One of which was replacing our carpet and sheet vinyl with new solid surface plank flooring.
