CAMPGROUND, RV PARK & RV RESORT REVIEWS
How we rate our Campgrounds, RV parks and RV Resort stays
We rate on a 5 star scale; 1 star being lowest and 5 star being highest. We rate them based on available utilities, site spacing, site size and surface, level, maneuverability within the campground and into the site, cleanliness, friendliness and hospitality of the staff.
We may add additional notes explaining our ratings and reviews. We try to be fair in appreciating the economy of the location, number of years established, local state and federal laws, and our RV requirements. These are solely ‘our’ opinions but we try to be fair with honesty.
To avoid confusion, we also listed the year(s) camped so you can gauge whether or not you can park your RV and/or tow vehicle or toad at an of these campgrounds or RV parks.
- 2015 & 2015 – we parked our 44′ 5th wheel toyhauler with access from the back of the our fifth wheel for our motorcycles and our extended cab RAM Dually.
- 2016 – we parked our 41′ 5″ 5th wheel and our extended cab RAM Dually.
- 2019 – we parked our 25′ Class C motorhome and 2-door Jeep
Military FamCamps Info
Military FamCamps are not open to the general public. They are only afforded to Active Duty, Disabled and Retired Veterans, Reservists and Guardsmen, DOD employees and may include separate allocations listed on their own MWR information. All military campgrounds are mostly located on post/base and we are subject to vehicle and body search for firearms, weapons and other contraband at entrance. Military/DOD ID cards are required for admittance through all gates at all times.
Worth noting, rules and regulations up to the discretion of each Base and Post Commander. What may apply to one FamCamp may differ from another. We highly recommend researching each to insure you get the proper information.
Here are a few good app and website resources to get information on Military FamCamps. None of these are endorsed by or are official military affiliates.
