When we started full-time RVing, our biggest concern was how to find Campgrounds and RV parks that would accommodate our RV fifth wheel toy hauler. Now, several years later, we’ve mastered how to locate great campsites through several different resources.
Living in an RV has it’s challenges such as where to store everything from food to your cooking tools. Having prepared many meals in a small RV kitchen for several years now, we’ve finally mastered the art of small kitchen organization and storage. We admit, it can be a bit of a challenge trying to utilize every inch of kitchen storage space without having to sacrifice having easy access to our food, condiments, kitchen tools and supplies.
Located along the shores of one the world’s best-protected harbors, Erie, Pennsylvania, takes claim in pivotal maritime history of the Great Lakes. Erie is the city of all transportation; planes, trains and automobiles, boats and even RVs! Since we have this allure to all things maritime, we decided to tour the city of Erie’s waterfront.
For those wanting to RV full-time, one of the looming questions is “how will we do our laundry?” Should you buy an RV washer and dryer or opt for using a laundromat or campground laundry instead? For us, the answer wasn’t that simple.
Just because we live in a small RV with a tiny kitchen doesn’t mean we don’t put out some delicious gourmet meals. In the summer of 2017, we stayed in the small oil town community of Tionesta, Pennsylvania. Located in a heavily forested region in Forest County, this area is noted for its big game and wildlife, fishing and hiking. Tionesta Area Recreation Campground is situated on the shore of Tionesta Lake and Dam. The campground itself, draws mostly locals who enjoy weekend getaways amidst the scenery and recreation.
Living in a van down by the river is a figurative expression meaning being a complete failure at life, a drain on society. However, nothing could be further from the truth for many, including us, who choose to live minimally in vans or even downsizing to small RVs and campers while enjoying freedom and travel.
