Always On Liberty Casa Grande Ruins National Monument

While we were enjoying an Xscapers event in Casa Grande, Arizona, we escaped for a day with a couple friends to visit Casa Grande National Monument in nearby Coolidge, Arizona. Translated, Great House, these ruins were once, a cultural gathering place rich in ancestral and ecological history. Today, visitors like us come to gather for a different reason.

10 Fun Things to See and Do in Quartzsite, Arizona

Quartzsite, in the past decades, has become a pilgrimage for traveling full-time RVers. The small, eclectic town draws hundreds of thousands during it’s tourist season in January and February. Quartzsite has become the Boondocking Capitol of the world. For some, its a one-and-done event. But for us, we find more cool places to see and things to do that keep our wheels pointed west on I-10.

Liberty Crew’s 2017 Holiday Ramblings

RV Life is what we call it.  Even though it may look like we’re tripping the light fantastic, we still endure LIFE just like everyone else. We still deal with the good, the bad and the ugly but we manage life just a tad bit differently as previous sticks and bricks homeowners because of our tiny living and travel.

8 Amazing Hikes in the U.S.

When we began our RV travel adventures in late 2014, we tried to come up with something to do together, enjoy the outdoors, learn something that would also be physically exerting to keep us healthy. We watched a few of our younger RV friends go on some awesome hikes in places we’ve only dreamed about or have seen in travel magazines.  It was then the hiking bug bit us!

When RVers Choose the Wrong RV park

 

Usually, we are more selective in finding a campground, RV park or RV resort that ‘fit us’.  Not this time.  We made the costly mistake of not making reservations back in the late fall.  Our fault…and we paid for it dearly.

 

One of the best pieces of advice we received from seasoned full-time traveling RVers when we started our journey is ‘that’s why they have wheels’.
