RV owners have taken RV interior decorating to a whole level making their motorhomes, travel trailers and fifth wheels more livable and appealing. They have stepped out of the dreary and drab to func tional and fab in interiordecorating. RV owners have applied the same customization they have or had in their sticks and bricks homes.
Anyone who owns a cat knows if you don’t provide a place for your mini lions and tigers to scratch, your furniture will be one big heaping mess of ripped up remnants. I don’t know if its just luck or that we’ve just been good forceful cat parents that we’ve not had furniture issues. It might be because we’ve always had the biggest, most badass cat climbing towers known to man. Okay, maybe not ‘that’ badass but our resident mousers sure loved it.
Pulling your RV or camper down the road can shake things up a bit inside our RV. Thus, it can result in a whole lot of messy cleanups once we get to our destinations. We had to learn to pack our cabinets and refrigerator as if we were driving through a tornado. So, we learn quickly how to stow and go! You’ve no doubt, seen a trend lately in RV upgrades. Everything is WHITE; walls, cabinets, textiles, window shades, etc. And we get that, its certainly a personal choice. But, in all-things-decor, its a trend that will change; whether it takes weeks, months or even years.

Though we’ve not taken our two year old luxury fifth wheel down to bare bones (ie. removing cabinets, major reconstruction), we have made modifications and improvements; one of which was removing all of the carpet and replacing it with new solid surface flooring.

When you buy an RV or camper, they all have the same interior features unless you special order one. Even then, almost all of them have very little in custom decorating or necessary features fitting to our own individual needs. Its up to the new owner to make it their own. We’ve made our own modifications that made our RV lifestyle a little easier and more comfortable.
