Though we’ve not taken our two year old luxury fifth wheel down to bare bones (ie. removing cabinets, major reconstruction), we have made modifications and improvements; one of which was removing all of the carpet and replacing it with new solid surface flooring.
One would think the bathroom being the smallest room in an RV would be the easiest to remodel and be the least time consuming. It was actually the most challenging because it was such a small space. It also involved temporarily removing the toilet to do some modifications. But it was worth it because our makeover was a resounding SUCCESS!

So, you’ve been to the big RV Super Shows. What did you think? I’m sure they all had gorgeous new RV paint schemes, new floor plans, cool tech options, state of the art lighting, amazing new fixtures, etc. But what did you think about the RVs’ interior design?
RV Life is what we call it. Even though it may look like we’re tripping the light fantastic, we still endure LIFE just like everyone else. We still deal with the good, the bad and the ugly but we manage life just a tad bit differently as previous sticks and bricks homeowners because of our tiny living and travel.
Even though we don’t have sidewalks to shovel or lawns to mow, we still endure everyday trials of life….
