A million thoughts must go through your head when leaving your dog alone in your RV. How is your pup dealing with his separation anxiety during your absence? Does your dog get scared easily? Will he get you kicked out of the campground when you get back due to his constant barking? Is he ripping down the walls in your camper? Will you actually have an RV left when you return? All these questions must be going through your mind while you’re away from your camper.
Dogs or cats love to go camping! After all, they want to be a part of your journey too. But, as pet owners, it’s our responsibility to practice simple camping pet etiquette to not allow our dogs and cats become a nuisance to other campers. So, how do we make our pets feel more welcome without annoying our camping neighbors?
The question is how do you keep your pets cool and comfortable in your RV when it’s the hot outside? An RV or camper can get hot really fast in the summer. So, it’s important to take certain safety precautions when leaving your pet alone in your motorhome or towable RV when you leave your RV to go exploring.
Throughout our RV and camping travel adventures, we’ve taken note of some really cool camping gear for dogs and cats. They like to go camping or enjoy the great outdoors just like us so why not set them up with their own gear so they can go!
