There’s no better place to celebrate America’s Birthday than at any of our Country’s patriotic destinations. Almost every city and town brings out the flags and buntings of red, white and blue and decks out the parks, windows and doors. From battlefields to memorials, parades to parties, we’ll help show some cool places to let freedom ring! So, bring out the cake and candles and let’s get this party started! Here’s just a small collection of destinations to celebrate our Nation’s independence!
The Lone Star State is known for several things; big belt buckles, cowboy hats, broncing bucks and big honkin’ steaks. And, the places notoriously visited are Houston, Dallas, Amarillo and San Antonio. But what if I told you about a cool region in Texas that’s eclectic yet country called Texas Hill Country!
It’s no secret that Fredericksburg, Texas is not only rich in history and German heritage but a mixed bag of culture as well. Located in the heart of Texas Wine Country just outside of San Antonio, this eclectic town has a great punch list of places to visit and things to do! From hiking and camping to learning about the Texas Rangers (not the baseball team) and World War 2, you’ll love this quaint German town that beg you to return. Have you ever stayed at an RV park or campground that made you feel like a kid again? Well, Texas Wine Country Jellystone Camp Resort in Fredericksburg, Texas did just that. And even though I was attending an adult work summit there, it was a fun place to let my hair down. Its a great place to take the kids for a weekend, week or even a month. They have everything from great meetings rooms for the big kids to a big pool and bouncy carpet outside for the littles! So, let’s see why we liked it!

Do you know what today is (day after Thanksgiving)? It’s probably just a regular day for you; some returning back to work from Thanksgiving or for you diehard shoppers, it’s Black Friday. But for us, today is our third Nomadiversary and we are celebrating BIG! We wanted to share with you all our ‘Year in Review’.
Each time while we would visit Texas, we’d navigate our way through ranch and farm lands in Hill Country admiring the huge property gates and beautiful rolling hills and meadows. We’d notice something quite peculiar we’ve not seen anywhere else.
